Two CHI Franciscan Health Hospitals Win Consumer Choice Award

Harrison Medical Center and St. Anthony Hospital honored

Tacoma, Washington - Harrison Medical Center, Bremerton and St. Anthony Hospital, Gig Harbor have been named 2016/2017 Consumer Choice Award winners by National Research Corporation. Both facilities are part of CHI Franciscan Health, the premier health care system in the Pacific Northwest. The annual award identifies hospitals across the United States that health care consumers choose as having the highest quality and image.

“This award recognizes our commitment to quality, safety and providing a positive experience to each and every patient,” said Peninsula Market President, David Schultz. “The dedication and compassionate care of our providers, nurses and staff at Harrison Medical Center and St. Anthony Hospital make these facilities the first choice for health care on the peninsula.”

Schultz thanks the many people on the peninsula for choosing Harrison and St. Anthony for their health care and acknowledging their exceptional patient experiences.

Winners are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in the company’s Market Insights survey, the largest online consumer health care survey in the country. National Research surveys more than 300,000 households in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia. Hospitals named by consumers are analyzed and ranked based on Core Based Statistical Areas defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, with winning facilities being ranked the highest.
